Fans of the television show The Voice will remember Chris Mann, the sultry songster who placed fourth in the second season of the popular singing competition. He's also appeared in several episodes of Glee, recorded his own album, and toured with India Arie and Idina Menzel.
But it's Mann's latest work that is sure to touch the lives of caregivers around the world.
A family connection with Alzheimer's disease inspired Mann to collaborate with the national non-profit research institute, Cure Alzheimer's Fund (CAF), to write and record a single aimed at raising awareness about the realities of Alzheimer's disease.
In the music video for the song "Remember Me," poignant lyrics sung by Mann combine with a powerful performance by ballerina Cristina Dooling to create an impact that is certain to elicit tears and chills from anyone who is familiar with the complex challenges of Alzheimer's:
