My 80 year old mother aortic valve almost closed and she was told she will not survive heart surgery. Her body is shutting down.

Hospice folks are incredible and deal with end of life issues everyday...
Bless you and her docs for not allowing her to go through an invasive surgery...it would be too much for her.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Yes please get hospice if she is at home, they know what to do and can get meds instantly to the home.

gdunleavy.. im sorry you have to go through this. i hope you arent along at this time.. have you called hospice? and if you can get some high potassium foods in her, it should slow the diahrrea
