Tumeric and dementia.

Sometimes I will add ground turmeric to egg whites and cook them as scrambled eggs. They look almost exactly like regular eggs (with the yolk), because of the yellow of the turmeric powder. Ground turmeric is sold in most spice sections of grocery stores.

Mthr reads all the vitamin/medical journals and wanted to try tumeric,also since she had colon cancer and its supposed to be protective there. I bought her a really expensive bottle, and I was giving her a bunch when I visited. Oncologist is Indian, and says that tumeric is used in her culture's folk medicine. She said it would not hurt anything but the pocketbook to try!
