Mom only recognizes me briefly. It’s hard talking on the phone through a closed window.
Social distancing is painful when I want to hug her.

This is so hard for so many. Times we haven’t been in before. I just did a lot of much needed yard work at my dad’s house and never went close to him. I’m sorry for your personal pain in this, hoping you’ll get to hug your mom soon.
