Since my last post I thought my grandmother was improving for a bit. She entered back into the nursing home but now shes in comfort care but still is not eating or taking medications but lung function is good. She didnt need a ventilator on her stay at the hospital. Besides her getting the covid, could be possibly be on stage 7 dementia.
thanks for the update. You have really been to Heck and back. Regardless of stage 7 or not, it takes a lot out of the elderly just being in the hospital. I’m glad she didn’t have to deal with the ventilator. Did you have to quarantine? Did they allow you to see her at all? Poor thing. I hope she is not in pain or stressed.
