Veterans: food assistance, and caregiver assistance programs

1. Food assistance

I've just learned about this program:

There are also food distributions scheduled for Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL and Detroit, MI.

Veterans are eligible for 75 pounds of food.

Check the link for more details. I've just learned about this program and don't know yet how many other cities are being served.

Information on upgrades to outreach programs, eligibility, and other pertinent information for Veterans, including:

The VA’s Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers expanded on 10-1-20 to include eligible WWII, Korean and Vietnam era Veterans, providing services to caregivers of eligible Veterans, including a monetary stipend.
