Just saw a presentation by End of Life Washington that was sponsored by a disease support organization. It was very informative about things like POAs, POLST and more. It also explains Death with Dignity now legal in 10 states, and Voluntary Stopping Eating and Drinking (VSED) which is legal everywhere in the US. There is a great deal of thoughtful information and help available to those who want to have a legal say in how and when they die. The information was very well received by the disease support group that I am in. I recommend endoflifewa.org.
