Ah, shoot. I thought SOMEBODY had achieved Nirvana with their parent.
As we all know, when things are going smoothly, there's no need to be on this site proclaiming to all and sundry how great things are. They just get to sit back and enjoy a great relationship. (And they DO exist, but why write about them? Just sit back and ENJOY!)
Surely you jest, as there is no such thing as a "perfect" relationship, especially with someone with Alzheimer's/dementia. I do hope that you're not living in denial,(or being sarcastic) as there is not one one of us on this forum who had a "perfect" relationship with the one(s) we cared for or are caring for, even as much as we truly love or loved them. So UserDD6, I'm calling your bluff!!!
Did you create a brand new account to come in here to post this title??
Glad you have created a perfect relationship with your Alzheimer's ridden mother over the past 3 years and that you love every moment of caring for her. Have at it!
