Same type of dramarama with Benson - former owner of NFL New Orleans Saints- towards the end of his life and then accelerated on dealing with his Estate afterwards. His was especially layered as 1st wife long deceased and his children from first marriage were all adopted and it was grandkids doing the more “heir apparent” stuff and then enters 2nd wife a very savvy & definite personality. Courtroom drama in two States…..

Seems to me the woman is competent and has another son onnher side. If it goes to court and she is found competent, her son does not have a leg to stand on.

I'm not certain what's going on there PeggySue, it looks like the dispute is less about whether the mother is competent and needs a guardian but which son gets their hands on the money. Forum advice often says that disputes like this can result in the State taking guardianship, it will be interesting to see how it plays out when there are prominent people and money involved.
