I’m moving to the Philippines. Can I bring my caregiver with me?

I want to bring my caregiver with me to the Phillipeans. If I do this, can she still get paid?

Get paid by whom? She certainly can travel and get paid by YOU. And would be able to stay according to the laws of residency and etc in the Philipines.

I would imagine you can also travel with a caregiver for a vacation, but no idea whatsoever the limitations on that.

If paid by Medicaid; probably not. Medicaid coverage does not cross state lines. You need to research how to be eligible when you move. Your caregiver will too.

first step is - is she willing? If so, then can she get whatever immigration papers are needed to move.
If so, it may work out well and be a good idea. I'm sure costs overall would be lower in the Phillipines
