August 2018
I am a past client
My mother was there for three years. In that time I took her to all her doctors appointments, 13 times a year. Sometimes, for unknown reason, they would make appointments for Mom and then call me that day to see if I'd be coming to take Mom. I would tell them over and over again that they aren't to make appointments or take her anywhere without my permission. Had several of these conversations but it didn't seem to make any difference. They did not have my permission to do any of these things. When we left for doctor they would give us a report to give to the doctor and when we returned we gave them what we got from the doctor, so they were well aware that Mom was being properly cared for. During this time I spoke to Mom's cardiologist, after finding out they took Mom once again without my permission. The doctor said they tried to get her to sign papers saying Mom wasn't capable of making her own medical decisions (yeah, we know, that's why I've been doing it from the start). The doctor believed they were scheming to take guardianship of my mother, for no reason at all, unless they thought they could get assets from her. All of her personal possessions (jewelry, silhouettes of grandchildren, family photos, microwave, furniture, etc.) suddenly disappeard and I was never notified so we could find the items. No staff ever reported things were disappearing. To me, appears like staff helped themselves. Criminal. Don't leave any loved ones here. They're not safe.
