We have had the sheer PLEASURE and CONFIDENCE of using this provider for in-home care for my mother in her final weeks of life. Believe definitely stood out from even the initial phone calls, then follow-up from the Owner. Their desire to understand ALL the family dynamics and the care required is what is needed for success in these situations, me knowing that from being in the healthcare field for 40+ years already. Their communication was non-stop, easily reachable at anytime. The care plan was discussed thoroughly at our meeting, backup plans were discussed and finalized, scheduling was FLEXIBLE which was of HIGH PRIORITY since family was also involved providing care. Scheduling was easy and if changes needed to be made Believe was easily reached. The provider which was sent was knowledgeable, caring, helpful, and willing to "Go the extra mile" for my Father who was here 24/7. Being married 62 years he was not leaving my mother's side. Our experience was great with Believe and they made things much easier for the whole situation. Billing was fair and all costs were disclosed up-front as required. No one expects to have this kind of care done for free, and I can honestly say to families looking for this: YOU GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR, so be thorough in your decision. Our family found Believe Home Care during one of the worst times of our lives. My mother and handicapped father (stage 5 Parkinsons with dementia) lived in Fla. (We are in Pa) My mother died very suddenly and unexpectedly and we had to tie up affairs in Fla and move my father here. Knowing nothing about Home Health Care we somehow stumbled upon Believe Home Care. They were helpful from the start and were able to have 24 hour caregivers in place a week later when we got my father to Pa to live with us. The administrative staff were very kind, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. Having 24 hour caregivers entering your home in 8 hour increments is a difficult adjustment to make specially when it is not gradual and you are watching your fathers mind and body decline rapidly. Believe Home Care caregivers were professional, timely, kind and knowledgeable. Most of them became almost like family to us. Believe literally helped us navigate my fathers last days. I am not sure and cannot imagine what we would have done without them. Memories of those moments are bittersweet. I do have memories of Believe Home Care staff and caregivers that make me smile. I know he had learned to love and look forward to seeing them and I know that he had the best care possible.

Believe caregivers were knowledgeable and experienced, exercised superior judgment and maintained excellent ongoing communication with our family. They went the extra mile, even placing a rosary in our loved one’s hands and reciting the Lord’s Prayer to her during her final moments. During the initial consultation CEO Scott spent a full two hours explaining options, evaluating our loved one’s needs and answering our questions. Believe’s updates via the online portal were invaluable. They provided a transparent, real-time communication for the family, caregivers, the RN, the scheduler and the CEO. Coordination with hospice care was seamless and efficient.

Believe home care was a great decision for us. We wanted limited hours, the same care giver at each visit, and professionalism. I have a 93 year old mother-in-law living with us with early onset dementia, and she has limited mobility due to her knees. Although Believe Home Care is a bit more expensive than other providers, it is by far the best choice we ever made. This is a family run business which was also a plus for us. Scott the owner makes the first visit, detailing the business itself. Terry his wife, a nurse, made the following visits bathing my mother-in-law and explaining the other duties that we could take advantage of. After a few visits, Terry brought over a permanent care giver, Kim. Kim is patient, gentle and efficient in all her responsibilities. My mother-in-law is always first with Believe. Each visit is documented on a blog and shared with the team. Once a month at no additional charge a nurse calls to make a quick visit and evaluation. Another important point for us was to feel safe with our care givers visiting our home. In all aspects Believe has been professional, caring and compassionate of my mother-in-laws needs as well as our needs. We would recommend them highly.

Watching my father progress in his end stage lung cancer illness was very difficult, but the choice to have the team of Believe Home Care help meet his daily living needs was the easiest and best choice made throughout this past year. Believe was there for my dad and our family as no other could be. Their real time timeline that we could access on our phones throughout the day not only allowed us to see pictures and know his daily activities but also shared his vitals. With that shared information and a personal call from the nurse, we were able to get him into the hospital and have his medical needs met without further suffering. The staff have all been very cheerful, compassionate and professional. The flexibility and reliable nature of each staff member made things seem more like a team approach. Believe was there for us through the end and staff was present when my Dad passed. They were so amazing and supportive. I just wanted to share how grateful I am for Scott and the team at Believe Home Care. At a time when we were feeling overwhelmed with my Dad's care at home (he was in the mid-stages of Alzheimer's), Believe was such a source of support and comfort. They have amazing caregivers - Special shout out to Barbara who cared for my Dad and even jumped in to do extra shifts with no notice when we needed them. And to Scott, it is hard to believe that the head of the company would have time to personally speak to clients, but he does somehow. He truly cares and followed up with us immediately, anytime we needed help or had a question. When my Dad took a turn for the worse, Scott was also a thought leader on next steps and shared his insights on what to do next. The decisions you make to try and provide the best care possible for your loved one are filled with anxiety. You want to make sure you are choosing the right care and I am thankful we picked Believe. I especially liked their online technology portal that allowed me to see real time notes and photos after the caregiver visited Dad. I live out of state and I always felt so disconnected with his care before Believe. But once I had the portal I was a part of his care team and was included in what was going on. Reading the detailed notes from Barbara made a difference to me and gave me peace of mind. My Dad sadly passed away, but Scott & Barbara and the team at Believe all checked in with me and continued to be a source of comfort.

Our family was looking for a caregiver for our 92 year old Mom that would come to her house for a 2 hour minimum instead of a 3 hour minimum like most companies. My sister-in-law found a company called “Believe” in Doylestown who could offer this service so we hired them for 7 days a week, 2 hours each day. When I was at her house visiting I met several of the caregivers, who were very mature and one was even a retired nurse and extremely professional. She was very compassionate with mom and made sure she listened to moms concerns and requests. She jumped right in and took care of all of Mom’s needs. Mom has her mind but her body is starting to fail her. She needs help with most everything and the caregiver encouraged her to ask for help, which is hard for Mom. One of the best features that Believe offers is a website that all of their employees update on their shift so any family members who have been added to the list can get daily real-time updates on Mom’s health and see if she needs anything. I also admire the fact that the employees have medical backgrounds and can take and post her blood pressure or any health related items that might require us to take her to see a Dr. It puts all of us at ease to know that someone is taking the time to do this and create a timeline log of her blood pressure that we can all see by a click of a button! It keeps the family informed and everyone on the same page. I highly recommend this company, Believe, for anyone who has a loved one that needs some additional help at home. In closing I’d like to say that the owner, Scott P., has made himself available to us for questions any day of the week and pretty much any time of the day! Thanks for a great job!!

What more could I have wanted in trying to get back on m y feet again after fracturing my right hip? I got everything...and more from my caregivers at Believe Home Care...they were kind, considerate and always there for me...including going to the super market and helping me stock my cupboards, physical therapy and doctor and dentist appointments...plus the hairdresser!
