Since 2008, we have provided a stable, loving service to assist the elderly with a wide range of non-medical services that are necessary to stay safely in your home throughout the Spokane area. We offer support services in a variety of arrangements such as Personal Care, Companionship, Specialty Care, and much more. Care to Stay Home can provide assistance to you or your loved one for just a few hours a day, 7 days a week, or on a live-in basis.

Owners, Rob and Jayne Fraser, bring a wealth of experience and have an innate gift of visualizing like-minded care; they meet with families and/or clients to ascertain an individual plan of care that will work best in each unique situation. This initial meeting is critical in assessing the needs of the family and assigning the right caregiver thereby minimizing the need for any changes. Matching the right caregiver to the client is crucial to establishing a relationship that begins the continuity of care that is very important throughout the outcome. The Fraser’s important gift of foresight brings comfort and trust to each family served.

Before opening Care to Stay Home, Rob and Jayne thoroughly researched the industry. They added key elements to their care program that others do not offer. Very often, at other agencies, they found clients as well as caregivers treated as numbers with an assembly line attitude toward their care. The most important focus for the Fraser’s is that clients and families get the personal care they deserve. They also have specific expertise that makes them a dynamic team that blends knowledge, experience, and compassion. Both Rob and Jayne have empathy and love for people giving them the ability to go into a situation, assess the needs, and put forth a working plan of action for in-home care.

We needed home care for a a few weeks to help care for my husband. Care to Stay Home impressed me from the get-go. It took them 2 hours to do the interview the day we called. They set up a workable schedule, were very flexible and the caregivers were skilled. They assisted my husband with his wound care, showering and other daily activities. The caregivers they provided matched our needs. There was an instance with one caregiver that smoked and my husband and I are highly sensitive to smoke. The office staff didn't send the caregiver back and were happy to make adjustments to our needs.

She helps me do things that I can no longer do on my own such as helping me take a shower. I chose Care to Stay Home because we have used them previously a few times and every time was a nice experience for us. They are a very professional company and the caregivers provided are nice, punctual and have had great training. The caregivers took control of their responsibilities and once they were told what to do they knew exactly what was needed to carry on. They even helped do extra things around the house that I didn't expect of them. The office staff has some glitches and troubles with scheduling and it would've been more helpful if the office staff can work out the kinks when scheduling the caregivers. Overall it's a comfort to me that someone else could be there to catch my husband if he were to fall.

The staff at Care to Stay Home was very caring after my mother had fallen. She was dealing with physical and emotional issues and the caregivers were able to support her through all of that. Bringing Care to Stay Home services helped alleviate a lot of stress for me because I didn't have to go up so see if my mother was okay. I could trust that she got the care she needed. The caregivers showed up on time and were able to do the chores my mom needed to have done. The also provided a good social environment for her. The office was a life saver to us. When my mom got pneumonia and was close to the end, they recommended the best hospice service that kept her in her apartment where she wanted to be. The gave us great advice and were fantastic. They were also clear and fair on the billing and the overall system in general.
