I would not recommend Comfort Keepers. Our Mother had many health issues, along with dementia. One caregiver talked non-stop about her personal problems, her husband’s surgeries, etc. We asked her to stop and she continued. We had to babysit caregiver and put a TV show on for her to get her away from Mom. After she left, It literally took us all night to get Mom's blood pressure back down. Another girl sent only cared about what movies and magazines we could provide for her entertainment. No interest to care for Mom. Another woman sent knew Mom was on a special diet due to swallowing issues. She left chicken (baby food) and many other food items out and did not put in refrigerator after she had used a little out of each jar. I am so glad I found it! Another woman was good to Mom but voiced her concern about this Company. She told us that many clients that she was sent to had bad experiences. This caregiver was embarrassed and said she was thinking of quitting. She did not want to be associated with that. I told Mgt. not to send any more of these woman. I was told that I had to take them because they could not cover their shifts. They should not hire new clients then, it’s misleading. Another woman sent was over 3 hours late during a shift change. She then wanted me to leave Mom and walk out 2 blocks so she could find me and get to our house! We fired them at this point! Nightmare. This all happened while we were supervising. I can't imagine if Mom had been left alone.

My family has been using Comfort Keepers of Orange for almost a year now and I recommend them highly! They are very professional and all of the caregivers have been wonderful. We have had several emergencies and they went over and above to help us when my Mom went in the hosptial and care afterwards. We really don't know we would do without their service!
