RESPITE CARE:
provided on a short-term or regular basis because of the absence or need for relief of those persons normally providing the care. Respite activities are limited to those that the individual providing the service is qualified to perform. This type of care allows live-in caregivers, friends or relatives to take a break and still have the peace of mind that their love one is in good hands during their absence.
HOMEMAKER:
Transportation (includes recreational / leisure activities, appointments, shopping, outings, errands, etc.)
Light Housekeeping
Laundry and ironing
Meal Preparation / Cooking
Dusting
Errands such as picking up medication, posting mail, shopping, etc.
Assisting clients to prepare shopping list respecting personal preference, budget and storage limitations
Making / changing beds
Washing dishes
Sweeping / vacuuming
