Griswold Care Pairing for St Petersburg & Pinellas County was founded by Sue Althof in 1991 and has been family owned and dedicated to Pinellas county seniors ever since. Sue spent many years as an in-home nurse caring for seniors and the disabled. When she heard about Jean Griswold’s mission to provide high quality services, focusing on the needs of clients and caregivers she was excited to launch Griswold Care Pairing in her own community.
Sue’s daughter Meg grew up with Griswold. When she was a girl she would staple brochures and help deliver holiday gifts, as a young adult she answered phones and even became a caregiver while attending college. When Sue was ready to step back from working to assist her own mother Meg became more involved and in 2007 she became the owner of Griswold Care Pairing. Today, Meg is joined by her daughter Liz and her husband Rex continuing a legacy of caring.
We understand that quality care at home can make a huge difference in your family's quality of life. We are backed by our national franchise that has over four decades of experience in home care services. Caring for a loved one living with injuries, disabilities, or the effects of aging can involve many different aspects that don't neatly fall into any one category. Our referred caregivers are able to customize our services to suit your unique needs to keep you and your family comfortable at home.
The Caregivers we refer can provide assistance on a flexible schedule based on your needs. We offer flexible hourly shifts, 12 hour overnights with sleep and 24 hour live-in care. Griswold Home Care always considers the needs of your loved one when referring a Caregiver, including personality and other attribute matching. With Griswold Home Care’s consumer-directed model we’ll refer qualified Caregivers, but you will make the decisions!
Griswold Home Care clients are always assigned a dedicated Care Coordinator that will always be up-to-date on client special needs and changes in condition. Our Care Coordinators communicate regularly and often with all clients, Caregivers, and specified family members.
Please contact us for more information and we’ll work with you to develop a home care solution that meets your needs.
