About Us - This is a family owned in-home care agency; franchised with #1 Senior Care Company in North America called Home Helpers and Direct Link. Franchisees are Vladimir and Elena Petrenko, owners, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience. They're no stranger to working with elderly patients (they provide care for three seniors in their house) and those in need, Elena Petrenko possesses a HCA and leadership. Elena has received her administrative training in the Saint-Francis Hospital, CT. Both owners are committed to meeting the needs of today’s older residents as it stated in the 2012-2013 CT State Plan on Aging. Elena and Vladimir have more than 23 years of experience in program development, business administration and management, teaching, and customer service experience.

Companionship - Our caregivers focus on providing social and physical stimulation to keep people active and engaged; The Buddy Walk (outside activities such as walking, active adult or senior physical activities, or sports, escorting to family gatherings, grandchildren activities, etc.), Morning “Perk Up” (early morning a coffee/tea party), Evening “Tuck In”
General Assistance - Our caregivers can assist with activities of everyday living such as housekeeping, laundry, preparing meals, sorting through mail or organizing personal affairs and exercise and medication reminders.
Personal Care - Caregivers can provide assistance with dressing, grooming, hygiene and transferring from a bed to a chair or a chair to a toilet.
Care Management - A Home Helpers registered nurse can coordinate and manage physician visits and medications, while acting as the liaison between the medical staff and the families to ensure the client’s overall health and well-being.
Medication Reminding - A trained Home Helpers health care professional can administer dosage directly or load our Direct Link automated medication dispenser to release the medications at preset times.
Prescription Coordination - Coordinates home delivery of prescriptions through a CT based pharmacy; delivery available 365 days/year. Vital Signs Monitoring - You or your loved one can easily monitor chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, congestive heart failure, hypertension or COPD, using our Direct Link vital signs monitoring units for glucose, blood pressure, pulse and weight, or a Home Helpers health care professional can perform these services.
Personal Emergency Response Services (PERS) - Include; monitored medication dispensers and other devices to help you stay safe in and out of your home. Our rates are specially designed, only, for our customers. Direct Link is the most affordable, reliable, and technically advanced system available.
Home aid services - We assist at home after a hospital or rehab discharge; chronic illness self-management/teaching; home monitoring; help with medications; frail, falling, or vague aging adult. An extra skilled assistance, such as bathing, dressing, walking, cooking, eating, and housekeeping; services are available in-conjunction with nurse visits.
Medical Alert Systems - Our exclusive Direct Link line of medical alert systems includes personal emergency response systems, an automated medication dispenser and vital signs monitoring units – valuable devices that can provide an added sense of security.
