As everyday life becomes more challenging, a little help can go a long way. For more than a decade, Home Helpers has been making life easier for seniors, new moms, those recuperating from injury or illness and those facing life-long challenges by providing one-on-one care and companionship to those in need of a helping hand. From a few hours to the whole day, we’re there when and where you need us to help make life easier and maximize independence! Home Helpers caregivers are employees, not subcontractors, who are thoroughly screened and insured by workers’ compensation and unemployment to ensure you and your loved ones are fully protected. Our compassionate caregivers are extensively trained and many have experience with specialty care, including Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s and Hospice care. Home Helpers’ care plans are tailored to fit each client’s unique needs, budget and schedule with the flexibility to change as the client’s needs change over time. Our services may include: meal preparation, housekeeping, medication reminders, errands/incidental transportation, laundry, personal care services and companionship. We also offer a morning “Wake-Up” or evening “Tuck-in” service.
Our mission is to ensure our clients are enjoying the best quality of life in the place they call home. We offer not only in-home care, but also 24-hour personal emergency response systems (PERS) and an automated medication dispenser to empower folks to live independently for longer than might otherwise be possible. Seniors who have a PERS are able to stay in their home an average of six years longer than those who do not,* and research shows about 25% of all nursing home admissions are related to improper self-administration of medicine.**
