Home Help Companions offers several benefits to assist your family with in-home care decisions. We offer Tier Levels of care for your family to choose from. Depending on the skill sets your family member may need, we feature CNA I for companions/sitters, CNA II for intermediate care and CNA III for those that are medically frail. Each skill level of care offers specific support features to assist your family member to enjoy the best in their quality and continuity of care.
Home Help Companions conducts an extensive interview process, to ‘vet’ our potential caregivers. This ensures the quality, skills and experience they offer to our clients. We endeavor to make our caregivers part of your family with the opportunity to have the same caregiver partner with your loved one on a weekly base. This helps ensure continuity of care and to develop a working partnership with the caregiver, the client and the family.
Our caregivers communicate daily with the nursing and management team of Home Help Companions electronically to ensure that changes in condition, behavior or progress can be shared with the family in “real time”. With access to this information and we can immediately share suggestions to adjust the care plan for your loved one, to maximize their quality of life in their own home or apartment, therefore extending their independence.
Our services are flexible and can be arranged for as little as twelve hours a week or as many as 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. Our Caregivers can help with a wide range of activities including companionship, meal planning, meal preparation and clean-up, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, errands, shopping, pet care, as well as escorts to and from appointments and events. Home Help Companions Personal Care Attendants and Certified Nursing Assistants can also assist with mobilization and personal care needs.

I have a son who has special needs where I need basically someone to be with him. Not someone to help him physically but basically to sit him for a short amount of time everyday. I guess I searched through Google one day and then Home Help Companions came up and I saw that they have child care service. They were just someone I called. I never really looked at a lot. I had a situation where both my husband and I work. My son goes to school and we have a 45-minute to an hour gap between the time he'd get out of school and my husband gets home. We really needed somebody for just a little time to be here with my son perhaps to shoot some baskets and stuff. He doesn't need any help physically. There's also no medical issue. I mean he has Down Syndrome and of course there's some cognitive issues but physically he's very capable getting around and doing everything. We just need someone at the house. They've been very good at always filling the position like for some reason the person that they have moved on or not available for some reason. They try to get the right match and all that. Every time that they come over, we meet the person beforehand and go over everything. We had good communication on the management side.

My big, huge extended family are so thankful to Donna and her exceptional staff of Chris, Kaitlyn and Linda for the care, and friendship, that they show to my two elderly aunts and two elderly uncles. From the time Donna walked in the house to do a needs assessment for the group, we have known that this was the correct step to take in providing excellent home health care, as well as activities of daily living for these folks. They have been accepting of the entire extended family as we try to provide feedback and some insight into their needs. I hear nothing but positive comments from my aunts and uncles with the care that they are receiving. The only additional thoughts that we have concerning the present care is that we would like to increase the number of hours per day that we will have staff coming in as we all believe that the crew would benefit from this.
