Travis and Stephanie Scallan opened their HomeWell agency in the spring of 2023 with the goal of providing proven, dependable care with the utmost integrity. Today, the husband-and-wife team utilizes their distinctive skillset and leadership experience to service the needs of those entrusted to their agency’s care.
As a former member of the United States military, Travis is a proud advocate for fellow veterans and is passionate about ensuring they receive the proper care at home to enhance their quality of life and that of their families. Prior to HomeWell, he also worked in the gas and oil industry, at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and as a police officer.
Stephanie has a diverse professional background in the medical field, having worked her way up through the industry over the course of her career. She has served as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medication Aide, healthcare manager, caregiver supervisor, human resources manager, alternate administrator, and marketer. However, it was her firsthand experience serving as her mother’s caretaker that drew her to the home care industry. She is determined to ensure that she and Travis provide the same quality of care and compassion to their clients as her mother received.

As a home care agency founded by a caregiver, we put the utmost importance on providing at-home caregivers who are knowledgeable, kind, patient and trustworthy. We understand the complexities of the aging process and other home health variables that can affect the physical and emotional demands of each specific case. Whether we’re providing senior home care or home health assistance, we know that no two situations are alike. Our Care Managers strive to select the caregivers who best suit each client’s personality and specific care needs. And because we put a high priority on both safety and quality, all HomeWell caregivers are fully screened, pass a stringent national identity and background check, have excellent references, and undergo comprehensive competency testing. Additionally, we employ caregivers who speak multiple languages including, Chinese, Hindi, Urdu, French, Dutch, Spanish and German.
