My mom had autoimmune hepatitis. She was diagnosed in April and died in August. She was part of networking group whose name eludes me but the owner of this particular Homewell was in the same group. It was her decision to use Homewell and the girls they sent were amazing. It was usually one of the same 3 girls and whenever a new caregiver came out (she lived in Pt Reyes) our caseworker came out with the new girl to introduce her. At first we just had someone come during the day. They would bathe her and help with toileting. They made amazing meals out of whatever was in the fridge. They did the laundry and cleaned up. My mom was on very high doses of steroids which made her uncharacteristically irritated and agitated however she loved every person they sent. I felt so much better and more secure having them there when I or my sisters couldn't be there. When it got closer to the end we started having them stay overnight as well. Tiffany was there with us when my mom died and she was so sweet and such a help. I wish I was more articulate because I can’t say enough good things about Homewell.

Nov. 2019 - HomeWell provided great care to my Dad. My dad suddenly became ill and had to go to the hospital. Before his release we decided we needed temporary 24 hour care. Carolyn was very quick to respond and provide us with 24 hour care for our Father upon his return home from the hospital. She met us at the Hospital and was at our home when the first caregiver arrived. The caregivers were amazing. My dad is better now and no longer requires 24hr care. Should we ever need caregivers again we will be calling HomeWell.

HomeWell Senior Care of San Rafael provided excellent service for my elderly cousin, which helped us keep her in her own home as long as possible. The caregivers are kind, thoughtful individuals who build trust for themselves with the client and family members. I was most impressed with the way that HomeWell went above and beyond to supply caregivers at almost a moment's notice even on busy holiday weekends. I certainly recommend HomeWell Senior Care to anyone needing service.

Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough to say for all the happy days that HomeWell Senior Care of San Rafael gave to my mom and myself during a very difficult time. HomeWell was able to give my mom a quality of life that I could not give her on my own so I am forever grateful for all your assistants. I am so happy that in a world where often the elderly are forgotten HomeWell is there so they will never be forgotten

My mothers' dear friend recently had a serious fall and broke her ankle and arm (she's 81 years old and lives alone). She was given a long list of referrals for follow up care and had been terribly disappointed with the caregivers from several different agencies over the first week of recovery (late or no-shows, 20 minutes of care per hour billed, unaccommodating and/or unfriendly staff, etc.). Through a friend I'd heard of HomeWell of San Rafael and put in a call for my mother's friend. They did the assessment the next day and were in full swing with care the following day. My mother informed me that her friend couldn't have been happier and was still raving 3 weeks later about the prompt arrivals, the kindness of the staff, and their willingness to accommodate even the most personal of details, from picking up her favorite soup for lunch to her mocha every morning. Homewell's rates were actually better than that of the sub-par services she'd initially received, and they have all levels of care available. I'd recommend HomeWell to anyone needing home services, especially if you want to avoid all of the run-around my mom's friend endured.

Many reasons for Homewell Senior Care of San Rafel's excellent rating: First, management response to my (I am the client) requests for actions by caregivers was almost immediate; next, the caregivers were very good with all the caregiver activities - home cooked meals (not dominos delivered etc.), daily activities to the grocery store, shopping, drives, mild exercise etc. Caregivers were very attentive in attending medical appointments and assisting with doctor's requests. The medical staff repeatedly said to me that our caregivers were very clean and that they stayed very close to our uncle while in the doctor’s office, that the caregiver did NOT stay out in the visitors’ area
