Melanie worked in the medical and dental fields and Jim served in private or public organizations for over 35 years, until they left their careers to bring Senior Helpers to Salem. Their seven children and 15 grandchildren are scattered throughout the world, but fortunately the family dog is still at home with no intention to leave. Melanie and Jim love the outdoors and spend as much time as possible in outdoor pursuits. Their life’s passion, however, focuses on serving others. They volunteer in the community, in their church and among friends and family. Senior Helpers is a wonderful opportunity for them to further extend their plan to never stop serving.
