SYNERGY HomeCare of DeSoto County is owned and operated by Anthony and Tracy D. Hall, two college sweethearts and executive leaders who have dedicated their lives to helping people reach their full potential.
The Halls and their team of compassionate caregivers are committed to providing a comprehensive range of short- and long-term care options to residents living in Southaven, Olive Branch, Hernando, Horn Lake, Byhalia, Nesbit, Lake Cormorant, Robinsonville, Tunica Resort and Walls. These include companion care, personalized in-home assistance, child care, and specialized support for individuals managing chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery, ensuring that all care needs are met.
Tracy is a community college president and has dedicated her career to serving vulnerable and underrepresented populations. She has a Doctor of Education in educational leadership. During her tenure as a community college president, her institution was awarded the prestigious Bellwether Award for Planning, Governance and Finance and is an Achieving the Dream Leader College. She was named to the list of the 100 Most Influential Leaders in Memphis four years in a row. Tracy is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Anthony is also an esteemed educator, longtime college and high school basketball coach, athletics director and proud Kappa Alpha Psi, Incorporated member. He has spent his career working to help students reach their full potential. He has a master’s degree in education. Anthony is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during Operation Desert Storm.
After experiencing the life-altering journey of becoming a caregiver for her mother following a massive stroke, Tracy witnessed firsthand the challenges and emotional toll families face when caring for a loved one. While navigating hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and hospice care, Tracy and Anthony were inspired to turn their personal experience into a mission. Together, they founded SYNERGY HomeCare of DeSoto County, dedicated to providing compassionate, trusted care for vulnerable individuals, while offering unwavering support to families in need.
No textbook could prepare the Halls for what was to come with the journey of caregiving. There are so many things to keep up with which often leaves family caregivers feeling overwhelmed and even burnt out. The Halls understand this struggle deeply, which is why they devote themselves to creating a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for both caregivers and those receiving care.
SYNERGY HomeCare of DeSoto County provides a wide range of non-medical care options. Companion care includes assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, and other tasks that allow clients to live independently. Personal care provides assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet and other activities of daily life.
