Find Care & Housing
I've actually used A Place for Mom and I don't hear from them, so even if they are affiliated, I don't think they're selling your info from this forum.

Hi PeggySue2020,

AgingCare is an A Place for Mom affiliate brand. AgingCare supports families caring for their senior loved ones at home through expert content and the online forum, where caregivers with similar experiences can connect. We also help caregivers find and compare local home care providers and other senior housing options.

I hope this answers your question!

Personally I’d suggest that you try to think of this forum -AC- as within an overall corporate umbrella that has AP4N, AC, Elder law Atty lists, etc as spokes of the umbrella.

You can post negative experiences with Ap4M, or Home Instead, or Brookstone, or other mores widely known names in “elder land”. It’s our personal take / story / experience so not an issue. The Moderator doesn’t censor but will edit out personal info (there will be those that actually put their names & address). , Mod does notice if you hit the “review” button that you find a post offensive & will address it. I’ve never detected my info ever being sold fwiw.

At one point they were very up front about the affiliation but today it seemed like I was searching for that proverbial needle in the haystack when I tried to find a link for you - seems to me unless you are a long time user (like me) it would be almost impossible to know that.
