My elder father constantly bleeds, how do I remove blood from his clothes?

Could anyone give advise on what to do with blood stains. My father is 73 and on blood thinners. He bleeds from anything he does. It's not anything dangerous, but it does get on his uniform, bed clothes, casual clothes, towels, etc.
