What can we do to help our mother cope with being moved to a nursing home?

If she is surving after 3 weeks she is eating something or she is getting something like ensure. It will take some time for her to get use to it but she will. When you are there see if an aide will help get her up and if she is not able to walk , stroll her around in a wheel chair while you talk to her. If you have a family member that could bath her that would help some but do explain to her that she will sometime have to let the aide help her if she needs help in that way. Like I said it takes time,,,
