my husband has a deteriorating heart desease and is a candidate for a heart transplant. Is there a program where I get pd.for caring 4 him?

You might try ada.gov (Americans with disabilities) or if he is a veteran, you can see what they have to offer. Also, go to your state Web site under "aging services" or some related heading and follow the links. You should find local contact information there. I wish there were more funding available to pay family caregivers, but for now it's spotty. We can hope that will improve as we are recognized for our contributions.
