How can I get my Mother evaluated in order for Medicare/Medicaid to pay for her to go to Adult Day Care?

Do a search in your state for senior services and call them. They will send a social worker to your home and have you fill out the paperwork. They will monitor your mother's needs and you might be eligible for a lot of things like meals on wheels, personal care products, etc. My mother goes to adult daycare 3 days a week. They send out a van to pick her up. It is an excellent program that provides a hot lunch, exercise, companionship, games and entertainment. My mother loves it there.
