In state of Texas ... is it true that the state takes the home after the patient diesif they are on a medicaid program ?

Good question! I was wondering the same about Michigan. The home in in both names, and only one is on Medicaid, at present. The other is in subsidized housing, which would change if one passed away. Wow, so many things to think about with caregiving for our elderly loved ones. I've been meaning to research this topic, so thanks for asking the question.
