How do I know when my mom has a health issue that is life threatening?
She is on Coumadin. Everytime something comes up, it scares me.

Sorry, but everything has to be treated as if it were life threatening; with the elderly it may very well be.
Coumadin is a dangerous drug and the levels have to be monitored closely.
