Are there benefits or financial help a person can receive if they are caring for a parent with Alzheimer's?

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot, but much depends on the state in which you live. I'd suggest you go to your state's Web site and look under something similar to "aging services." There you will find links and also local contacts. Your state may or may have "Cash and Counseling." If it does, that could help. But each state is different.
