How can I get my 69-year-old mother into some activities and recreation?

Does she live with you or in her own home. Many towns have a senior center or an Office for the Aging and you could call them and ask what activities they have-our senior center has many activities and a bus picks up those who do not drive and we have a great lunch program and also have adult day care-that would be a start if there is not one in your town check with you county government to see what is offered.
