Check with your Area Office on Aging, Alzheimer's Association or support group. There may be community (or religious/spiritual) organizations that offer low-cost or no-cost respite care. Also check to see if there is an adult day center in your area. Consider bartering with a neighbor/friend ~ perhaps your son/daughter can rake their leaves in exchange for them coming over to give you an hour (or an afternoon) away from caregiving.
