How do you choose the best rehabilitation center?

My Mother received a referral from her primary care doc. He highly recommended the facility...and I must say it was almost "spa-like." She had intensive physical therapy and it did wonders for her.
As always, you must have someone drop by and check in on her. Staff always treats those who have visitors better than those left on their own.
