Whenever my mother is depressed, that's where I take her. Sometimes she comes out with a do straight out of Hair Wars, but she swears to be "all that and a bag of chips." Now, if that's too raunchy for you I suggest neighborhood bartenders; especially from those from seedy, divey, watering holes. They make some of the best psychologists. No nonsense and objective on the jaded side, they've about heard it all. In my experience, they're usually not afraid of telling you what you need to hear instead of sucking up to you to get a big tip. Trust me: I used to be one of them.
