Yes, you do need help. You can't give your own life to/for him, and he wouldn't want that if he could be rational about it. Please get some help through your local Alzheimer's Association, or through your State Web site.
Type "aging" in the search box on your State site and look for the National Family Caregiver Support Program (it many have a slightly different name in your state). Contact these people, please! You'll get some ideas, comfort and support. Please keep coming back to Agingcare, as well.
