I am 56 yrs old and disabled and trying to find low income or subsidized housing. Any suggestions where to look? Thank you!

I live in Rochester, NY and I know there are resources. Being disabled sometimes limits my ability to seek out, search for, and go see some of these places. I do have a computer, and I do have transportation. I just have to travel on days that I feel well enough to do that. Also, I know that there are 55+ places.. but I don't want to be treated as though I am elderly. I am still youthful and don't want to lose that too.
