My mother likes to lie on the couch all day and it's been weeks since she has showered. She was abusing drugs. What should I do?

CHESSIE:
If you're talking about illegal drugs -- which interfere with everything --, I'd check her into a 21-28 day rehab. When you're "running" and getting twisted like a pretzel, you don't feel like doing anything during "down time."
She needs an intervention. NOW.
