We are moving my Dad to a private room and he is in denial. How do we help him understand the move is a good thing?

quiet after 9pm, blocks entry to bathroom, rude to our family. Dad's been shown the room and ignores anything about it. Dad is sometimes unkind with us daughters but very nice with others. We need help in how to work with Dad to help him understand the move is a good thing.
