My home is in foreclosure. My mother is being difficult about the situation and is unwilling to do anything. Where can we go?

My mother has AMD,1 eye is what they call wet an the othr is dry, she is also diabetic and give herself shots. I need to find housing for us, that is safe etc.. and she is being difficult about this stiuation and unwiling to do anything, it is becoming very frustrating. I want her happy,but I feel I have failed her...
