My grandmother started showing signs of mottling yesterday but it went away. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

People sometimes "rally" for a bit and seem to get better, but generally, the mottling is a sign of the body shutting down. I imagine she is being monitored closely and is out of pain.

If for some reason this was a false alarm, we'd love to hear about it! New information is always good.
