Can I get paid to take care of a friend?

There are 2 ways to be paid: privately or publicly. Privately: does your friend have funds to pay you? You can be paid just as if you were hired from an agency for an hourly, daily or weekly amount for the care you give. Publicly: does your friend qualilfy and receive assistance from Medicaid? In this case there are a limited number of states that will pay a friend or family member to for care. It is a small some but could be helpful.
