My ex-husband has my utilities in his name because I has an addiction and couldn’t be responsible for my monthly bills. Is this legal?

because I have a hoarding problem.and compulsive shopper. Is this legal. Sorry I need to clairfy I had an addiction to gambling rosie. We divorced 10 years ago and do not live together, but he does handle my monthly bills taxes insurance out of his checking account . I give nim about $500.00 a month he pays my utilities maintains all my repairs, grass cutting all maintenance. also takes me where I need to go since I can't drive. I am left with about $400.00 a month for my expenses groceries. I am trying to get medicare to pay my premium. Is their a problem with this.

If he's paying your bills so you have utilities, he may think he is helping you. If he isn't paying them, then it's hurting. Either way, you may need to speak to the attorney who handled your divorce, or another attorney, if you think what he's doing is illegal or if you want to change it.
