My 94-year-old mother is living with my sister. What can I do if my sister refuses to let my children or I visit?

EXPERT Carol Bradley Bursack, CDSGF Jun 2011
If you feel your rights are violated, or if you think your mother could be in danger, you should go to Social Services and have them do a welfare check on your mother. The rest is likely family problem, and a family mediator or even an elder law attorney may be needed if you want to push the issue.
Good luck,
Carol

What is the problem? What is your sister trying to hide? Why can't you just talk to your sister and ask what's wrong? Or do you already know.
