My mom lives in a Nursing Home..76 yrs old, very good mind...but, some bad behavior problems !!!Breaks my heart, to see her go from sweet and kind ...then can change in a instant. There is something about the caregivers waking her up in the morning for breakfast, it really gets her upset, to this rage screeming and cursing them out to get out of her room. She can be so demanding, wanting everything her way !! Then sometimes tell us she don't remember acting that way, I am really confused, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with there mom or dad ?

It could be so many things that effect her behavior. A bad UTI can have similar symptoms. A change in medications or a new one can do that too. Also, are they medicating her for her behavioral issues? I hope not. These meds have serious side effects.
You need to ask more questions and ask what they are giving her. If they are giving her a narcotic in the evenings it may effect how she wakes up in the morning (ie: drowsy, unaware of her surroundings, etc.)
If her behavior is out of the ordinary, I think that I would get to he bottom of it.
Also, can they come a little later to give her breakfast so she can wake up slowly?
good luck
