Could the combined side effects of some of the prescription drugs that my mother is taking be causing some of her physical problem?

She stopped taking two of them on her own and seems better. She was so confused and was having dizzy spells. Are there legal repercussions if she tells me not to get them anymore, and when I do, refuses to swallow them? She honestly seems better without them.
