Hoyer (patient) lift users out there?

Mom is in late stages, severe dementia as the dr calls it. My arms feel like they are pulled out of their sockets and ache all the time. I just got the call that a hoyer lift is being delivered for us and I am hoping so much this works well. Wondering if anyone else has experience with one? I asked for the commode sling as she is incontinent but I bathe her on the toilet and she normally does her bm's at that time, which is a great help. Thanks!
