How do you give pain med that has been crushed? It is soo bitter even mixed with food.

I take care of an Alz patient that can no longer swallow pills. She has a lot of pain in her joints and needs pain med. She wont take the adult liquid Tylenol or the crushed Tylenol, it is very bitter. I use just a little in drinks, mix with applesauce, mixed in peanut butter etc. I tried it, it is awful. Can you please help us!

We tried the puddings, ice cream but she doesn't like anything cold. We are trying to get home health care in so I have a nurses help. I can sprinkle a small amount on a fig newton but too much and she spits it out. She is very healthy and knows everyone can't say their names and can walk most of the time.
