We live in Florida and are putting my mom on icp until we can transfer her to assisted living facility. How long before there is money in the diversion program?

Generally on Medicaid-related programs, if the recipient goes into a care facility, the SS or pension checks go to the facility, with a small amount retained by the recipeint. If the recipient is getting in-home care the recipient keeps the income, unless it it above guidelines, in which there may be a "spend down" amount to be paid out of the income. I don't know how it specifically works in Florida, but perhaps the Department of Aging helpline could answer your questions.

Those are both Florida programs, I beleive versions of Edlerly Waiver under Medicaid.

What is ICP? Diversion from what?
