I do PCA work and my patient has very dry skin. Does anyone have any tips?

I think having plants helps, and they release moisture into the air. In addition, you can spray the leaves of the plants with a fine mist of water (from a spray bottle) and this adds more moisture. I don't know how much plants help with dry air, but at least it should help some, and plants look nice as well. Another plus with plants is that they absorb odors too.

I use a very gentle bath soap, like a baby body wash, try to hrydrate with water as much as can be tolerated, and use a combination of generic body lotion and coconut oil... you can get a tub of the oil at the grocery store in the cooking oil section... I mix the two and warm it up with my hands...I especially do this right after bath time, and then as needed.... hope this helps...

Usually drinking more water helps, as well as rubbing olive oil on the skin. At least that's what works for me.
